We’re looking for a part-time Production Office Intern for our films division who will work out of our studio located at B2 Interactive in Omaha.
The prime focus of the Production Office Intern will be a minor league baseball documentary project currently in production. This is fantastic opportunity for anyone studying journalism, sports journalism, communication, and/or sports media marketing who has an interest in sports films.
You will work closely with our Director of Visual Storytelling Dan Napoli to help execute the hard work that happens in the production office.
This internship requires approximately 10-15 hours per week and pays minimum wage.
At the end of your internship, you will come away with an understanding of the various elements of producing and executing a documentary film away from the camera before post-production.
Some travel opportunities may also come up during the course of the internship, as some major leaguers and ex-major leaguers may participate in this film.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the director and producers in researching and identifying credible interview subjects
- Research relevant facts and/or persons who could contribute to the film’s narrative
- Reach out to or cold-call potential interview subjects on behalf of the production
- Assist in scheduling interview subjects on behalf of the production
- Assist in organizing shoots by creating call sheets on behalf of the production
- Facilitate and execute interview transcriptions on behalf of the production
- Assist in music licensing/music supervision efforts on behalf of the production
- Provide PA (Production Assistant) on shoots
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience and/or comfort working with Google Cloud Apps, Mac OS
- Ability to collaborate with coworkers on various projects
- Ability to conduct highly organized, detail-oriented work
- Must have flexible schedule
- Must have strong interpersonal skills/networking
- Must have strong writing skills
- Must have desire to learn about sports, documentary film production, branding, and digital marketing

- Basic camera and video production knowledge
- DaVinci Resolve
