Hi, call me Will. I’m the research and analytics intern at Hurrdat.
I’m what you get when you combine a Midwestern work ethic with an insatiable appetite for self-betterment. I’m currently a full-time student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, pursuing a degree in advertising and public relations. I’ve never been one to let opportunity go to waste, so I’ve tried to fill up free time during my college career with developing my ability to write well, capturing compelling photographs, and exploring several different majors in an effort to find my calling. It took a few years, but I finally discovered a passion for advertising during my time at Jacht Ad Lab, and my love for the industry deepened during my time on the National Student Advertising team at UNL. I hope to eventually move to the coast, buy a dog, and build a thriving career in creative advertising.
My internship at Hurrdat started in May 2015, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to spend my time here. My days are filled with researching industry trends and scheduling social media content. I also collect analytics for social media accounts and report these numbers to the account’s clientele. I’m lucky to be surrounded by seasoned professionals who genuinely take an interest in my success.
All in all, I’m a pretty easygoing guy. I love golden retrievers, local music, and making people laugh. Breakfast food puts me in my happy place, and I may or may not have cried during the series finale of Mad Men. When I’m not obsessively scrolling through Facebook or Instagram, one can usually find me drinking coffee or trying to take pictures of my neighbor’s cat.
