What’s up, guys! I’m Maggie Konz, Social Media Strategist at Hurrdat, though I double as the “Heels Girl” of the office because I believe every day is a great occasion to sport your favorite pair of heels to work. (Insert Cosmo article on dressing for success.)
Though I attended college at the Missouri School of Journalism, my roots drew me back to Nebraska. Growing up in Kearney instilled in me a love for our great state — and for football. So yeah, I’m still a Husker fan, but don’t ask me who I’d root for if Nebraska and Mizzou played because, come on, that’s just not a fair question.
My roles and responsibilities at Hurrdat include social media copywriting, planning and implementing social media strategies, engaging clients’ online communities through outreach and community management, monitoring analytics, and creating reports.
Outside of the office, I’m a gym rat. I love to work out! My favorite XM radio stations are Pop2k (basically the best of the 2000s), The Heat (top R&B and hip-hop), and Chill (a collection of EDM and ~*~chill~*~ music). If I were stranded on a desert island and could only take two movies, I’d pick “Dumb and Dumber” and “Batman: The Dark Knight.” I love to sail boats and go on hikes as well.
Maggie’s Fast Facts:
What did you want to be when you grew up? When I was younger, I wanted to be either a teacher or the President of the United States.
What is one food or restaurant you could eat every day without getting sick of it? I could eat chicken wings every day and never get sick of them (I practically do already).
Which celebrity do you get mistaken for? I get mistaken for Drew Barrymore. People say I talk and look like her.
